Ahoy prayer warriors, Our regular ministry sails have begun with a variety of trips from a Adult support group who are learning to enjoy life in spite of mental illness, to adults with mental disability, to providing a staff retreat for those helping Adult offenders adjust to responsible living, to at risk teens and those in Foster Care families. B-About Sail Ministry is available to all who are in need of the saving grace and assurance of God who loves them and through His Son Jesus Christ who desires to have a personal relationship with them. Thus far we have shared with 243 teens and adults over 17 sail trips. The week of July 1st is a time for rest and maintenance. Then for the next 5 weeks we will be conducting ministry sails every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday. Much prayer is requested for wisdom, strength, good weather, and open hearts to receive the good news of Jesus Christ. We know that the gospel is only good news if it gets to them in time.
Thank you from  Crew and Captain. May we by God`s grace sail on!

Well our sail/ministry season is off to a wonderful start. A Blessing of the Fleet at our Marina in Sandusky was well attended with remembrance for our fallen service men and women and those currently serving. A touching memorial service was held off the Marblehead Lighthouse for one of our fellow Dockholders. On June 7th. a 8 1/2 hour sail to Cleveland for a weekend of providing boat rides to 130 people and providing Gospel Bracelets which most all accepted. A return trip to Sandusky on Monday was just as long and with limited visibility and rain. Wed. was our first sail with a Youth group led by a former Miss Ohio  Then on Friday evening a special support group of adults followed on Sat. with folks from my church who supported a missions trip to the Dominican Republic. So a total of 13 trips and 183 people we have ministered to thus far. Your prayers make the difference!

PROMISES

When was the last time you received a promise that was kept??? When did you last keep a promise??? Promise is a word used many times to manipulate someone to get something from them. Would you like to have a promise made to you that will not be broken? WOW! Well we have many, but they must be claimed to be applied to our life and when we do, our "Life House" becomes stronger as our trust grows. God made the promise to love you, then he sent his son Jesus to die for our sins as proof of His love. Then he asks us to claim this promise of love by believing in Him. Here comes the next promise, eternal life in heaven. At the moment of our death, that claimed promise is ours!!!  Questions? Please contact me Captain Chad babout@zoominternet.net   I promise to respond....

The corner stone of my Life House

For our Life House to be built on a solid foundation (rock) it must have a true corner stone from which the entire life is built on.  Some of the qualities that go into a true corner stone: Trust worthness, loyality, friendly, kindness, standing up for your beliefs, puting othesr before self, and most critical, believing the truth of God`s word. "I can do all things through Christ who is my corner stone!" (paraphrased)
